A: "Volunteering is incredibly rewarding and fun. It's a great way to learn more about your community and develop relationships and social connections."
The executive board consists of up to seven volunteers: a president, vice president of North Slave, vice president of South Slave, vice president of Dehcho, and three directors at large. Currently the MRA is staffed by one full time executive director and one seasonal summer staff.
The MRA region consists of the following communities: Behchokǫ̀, Dettah, Enterprise, Fort Liard, Fort Providence, Fort Resolution, Fort Simpson, Fort Smith, Gamètì, Hay River, Jean Marie River, Kakisa, K'atl'odeeche, Łutselkʼe, Nahanni Butte, Ndilǫ, Sambaa K'e, Wekweètì, Whatì, Wrigley
