“A week of adventure, fun, learning, and transformation that left me with some unforgettable memories."
I was skeptical about attending the camp at first, but boy was I in for a surprise! From the supportive and inclusive community of participants to the hands-on, immersive experience, the training left me feeling motivated and empowered; exceeding my expectations altogether. The skills gained at the camp have greatly impacted my professional and personal life. The invaluable expertise acquired not only advanced my career but also made me a more confident leader in my community. Grateful for the enriching experience, including practical workshops, engaging curriculum, and certifications, I now successfully run my own business in Fort Smith, making a positive impact and being sought after as a coach.
“This camp is perfect to ignite your passion, unleash your potential, and make a difference."
I impulsively enrolled in the Recreation Leader Training Camp, taking a leap of faith that turned out to be a pivotal moment, setting me on a path to success. As a prospective college student in Sports Management, the camp gave me a head start on my education and helped me secure a job within a week of completing the camp. Over the years while I completed my degree, I have worked with the MRA, organizing the same camp that changed my life. The camp not only refreshed and recharged me but also fueled my passion to contribute dynamically to the recreation sector."
