Assisting the Executive Director, the Summer Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, delivering, evaluating, and completing reporting for various MRA summer programs. These programs encourage and support participation in recreation opportunities and increasing awareness of physical literacy and water safety.
As a related role, the Program Coordinator will be required to work with MRA communities’ recreation leaders to deliver multi-sport camps or other outreach programs for physical literacy and water safety. An essential aspect of this position is that it may require extensive travel to offer these programs (dependant on CPHO guidelines).
The ideal candidate should:
o Experience with recreation programming, coaching, or event planning
o Experience and comfort with social media and various computer software
(Office suite,Canva design, google drive, etc.)
The MRA office is located in Yellowknife, NT, but we are open to exploring the possibility of remote work or work from home opportunities.
