We chose "SHOW us your SKILLS" as our event name to highlight the importance of trying and developing new Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) regardless of skill level. The purpose of the challenge is to encourage you to participate, be YOUR best, set and achieve goals, and have FUN!
Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) are the building blocks for movement and they form the foundation for many of the specific motor skills required in leisure activities, sport, work, and life.
Furthermore, developing FMS is an important step towards establishing a life-long commitment to physical activity.
Physical literacy is the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life.
